Queen Mary 2 docked at Chan May Port

Early in the morning of February 16, Chan May Port had the honor to welcome the famous cruise ship Queen Mary 2.

The ship is 345m in length and 149,215 GRT in gross tonnage with a capacity of nearly 4,000 passengers and crew members. The remarkable highlights are her luxury, comfort and elegance with high-standard accommodations, the Britannia Restaurant, the Royal Court Theatre, Illuminations, Winter Garden, 14 bars, clubs and a sports center.

This is the first time the Queen Mary 2 of Cunard Line has visited Chan May Port. The ship, on her voyage from Singapore to Vietnam, brought along 2,467 guests and 1,257 crew members from over the world, mainly from United Kingdom (1,250 guests) and others from Germany, United States, Canada, Australia, etc.

During the pausing at the port, her passengers have chance to take awesome shore excursions and experience of beautiful sites in Hue Imperial City, Da Nang City and Hoi An Ancient Town.

The ship left Chan May to continue her voyage to Hong Kong at 8:00 pm.
